The 'Phase' category is a helpful Project Management attribute to see where a project stands in general. A 'Stage' category with custom drop-down list options or even a limited blank-text field would be incredibly helpful to Field or Production Teams. Viewing the project list with a little more depth, without having to import project information to third-party trackers, such as Excel or the old pen and paper, would give users quick insight into inner project workings without having to be redundant with project info.
Ideally, each Department (already defined) could create their list of available 'Stages' so that their projects only retain relevant options. Projects that involve multiple Departments could present an issue here. A simple solution would be to have a collapsible menu under a 'Department_Name' to keep the lists separate.
