I think this would be a good idea. It would really save safety manager's time.

I would also consider allowing clients to input custom text in the email notifications. For example, When the safety training expires it notifies the employee with the appropriate instructions and/or links on how to complete the training. This should be a descent selling point cause once set up from the client side of things it should streamline the training process a bit more.
