When a task is created the budget for the proposal item is automatically populated for the task. If a second task is created for the same proposal item, the same budgeted hours are automatically populated for the new task, therefore doubling the budgeted hours for the project. Can the task creation limit the budgeted hours in total budgeted hours in the Proposal Item the task is connected to? Maybe it should allow us to assign the budgeted hours to the task during the creation process.

As above, when a task is removed/deleted, simply send it to a recycle bin that is purged every 30 days. This would allow us to easily restore if someone accidentally removes. (Especially if the 'Last Modified' is also implemented)

When scheduling a project far in the future, we're ending up with lots of tasks in the task list. This is a problem for users when they have to create a timesheet from scratch in the lack of a scheduled task under their name.

We can now close tasks, but even after doing so, the project still appears in the departments' lists of open projects. If all the department's tasks are closed, shouldn't the project disappear from the active projects list for that department?

calendar(s) could fill out the week with the days for the upcoming month

It would be good if another column could be added with overall numbe of days scheduled for a task rather than just start and end date. This will help enable forecasting and apllication prediction.
